His first teacher was his uncle, the engraver F. Mastihiadis.

He then studied engraving at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts (1974-1978) in Paris, under the guidance of L. Coutaud, J. Lagrange, and G. Dayez.

He works in both engraving and painting, with a particular focus on drawing.

His work is anthropocentric, with a dominant presence of the female figure.

A key characteristic of his artistic style is the revival of traditional painting values and their re-evaluation through a new visual perspective.

In his most recent creations, through various technical interventions—such as interrupting the continuity of the drawing surface by tearing the paper, or breaking a composition into individual sections that stand alone as separate paintings within the same work without losing their unity, or unorthodox construction of different connections—he conveys the sense of the passage of time and disrupts thematic completion in favor of the freedom of the drawing.

Thus, the image of the classically "beautiful" is destroyed, and a new aesthetic proposal is created through the fusion of the old and the new.
