Konstantinos Papaioannou was born in Athens.

He graduated with First-class honours from the Department of German Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and earned his postgraduate degree in Cultural Management from the Deutsche Akademie für Management in Berlin.

He has worked as a teacher for children, adults, and individuals on the autism spectrum.

Since 2013, he lived in London, UK, where he worked at the Haute Collage Fine Art gallery. There, he developed his artistic language, characterized by an intricate meditative pattern created entirely by hand, with references to pop art, psychedelic art, academic art, and symbolism.

Upon returning to Athens in 2019, he delved into Ancient Greek Philosophy and came into contact with the Orphic-Pythagorean tradition, the Platonic theory of the soul, and Neoplatonic ideas. These have since served as a source of inspiration for his poetic and visual work, which interact and complement each other.

He has exhibited his artwork in Greece, the United Kingdom, and Slovakia, and is represented by galleries in Greece and abroad.

“The Mystics”, published by Elikranon Editions, marks his first appearance in the field of poetry
