He was born in Athens in 1978. His father, a professional sailor, in his efforts to stay close to his family, opened a photo studio in Crete in 1988 and this was his first contact with photography. He studied photography at the Leica Academy in Athens and worked in the field of fashion. He works on long-term projects of social and anthropological content, using mainly analog cameras of medium format.
He takes pictures to alleviate the pain and fear of death.
His work (the Infinite Perimeter project) has been published in the world's largest photography magazines such as
British Journal of Photography in England
burn magazine in New York
C41 and FOTOROOM in Milan
IGNANT magazine in Berlin,
as well as on the huge internet platforms, LENS CULTURE and BOOOOM.
His work is included in books on contemporary photography in Italy and America.
